Pintor’s work questions whether photography’s allegiance is to reality or illusion.

Description

One of the elder statesmen of the Argentinian photography scene, Pintor uses “straight” or unmanipulated photography to capture the imaginative and surreal in Argentina’s urban and rural environments. Deceptively titled simply Images, this series emphasizes the dreamlike moments and oddities that can be discovered in reality by the receptive eye.
