Kenilworth Castle comprises five centuries of English military and civil architecture from a medieval fortress to an Elizabethan palace.
Kenilworth Castle has been a tourist attraction since the late 1700s. It gained an even larger audience when it became the subject of Sir Walter Scott's popular historical romance novel Kenilworth in1821.
