Did You Know?

Neuroscience has demonstrated that dogs identify with their owners.

Description

Here is an owner that identifies with his pooch. Sitting in the chair and smoking the cigar is Herbert Ascherman, Cleveland’s pre-eminent commercial and fine art portraitist for over four decades. The face we see in this self-portrait, however, is that of his poodle. Ascherman created and composed the shot, then asked a friend to snap the camera’s shutter. This is Ascherman’s most purchased image.
