There are subtle bamboo leaflike shapes on the interior of the sake cup.

Description

Seifū Yohei III was the first ceramist to be designated an Imperial Household Artist, a position that came with an annuity. He was tasked with producing items need by the imperial household to decorate the Meiji Palace and to present to state guests as gifts.
