Did You Know?

Anne Noggle photographed the before, after, and healing process of her facelift in 1975, which shocked many people.

Description

Five years after her facelift, Noggle took a double portrait of herself and her sister, Mary Pease. They both pull back their skin to make it look tauter and themselves look younger. “I’ve always been fascinated by something about my face,” said Noggle, “and it’s interesting to see the change and reverse them but at the same time see that they’re taking place anyway.”
