Gum tempera and black ink on a horizontally oriented, fibrous palm leaf features three rectangular blocks of dense script. Ragged edges and a light tan texture frame the text, punctuated by two small circular holes between the blocks. Tiny characters mark the far left and right margins. The composition balances the rhythmic repetition of text against the irregular, elongated organic material, highlighting the contrast between dark script and weathered surface.
