A horizontally oriented palm leaf is inked with three dense blocks of uniform black script using gum tempera and ink. Separated by two circular binding holes, the text columns fill the light tan surface between aged, irregular edges. Small red markings accent the outer margins. The script runs in steady horizontal rows, covering nearly the entire height of the leaf to create a rhythmic layout across the weathered, narrow strip.
