A horizontally oriented palm leaf is inscribed with three rectangular blocks of dense black script. Separated by two circular binding holes, the text is framed by small numerals and markings in the margins. The long, tan leaf features weathered, irregular edges and a subtle horizontal grain. The meticulous gum tempera and ink characters are organized into tight, even rows, contrasting with the organic, worn texture of the manuscript.
