A horizontal palm leaf with a weathered tan surface is inscribed with three rectangular blocks of dense black script. Painted with gum tempera and ink, uniform characters are organized into several closely packed rows. Two small circular holes pierce the leaf, separating the central block from the outer sections. The uneven, fibrous edges of the leaf contrast with the dark, precise lettering across the horizontal composition.
