A horizontally oriented tan palm leaf manuscript in gum tempera and ink features three dense blocks of black Indic script. Neatly aligned rows are punctuated by two circular binding holes. Small characters flank the far margins. The ink appears deep against the textured surface and its slightly uneven edges. The script is characterized by continuous horizontal top bars, creating a rhythmic, structured appearance that mirrors the elongated format of this traditional object.
