A horizontally oriented palm leaf features three dense blocks of black ink pressed into its weathered, tan surface. Two circular voids pierce the elongated substrate, rhythmically separating the meticulous rectangles of script. Fine, repetitive rows of characters create a woven texture, while minute marginalia float in the margins. To the left, frayed edges interrupt the smooth silhouette, lending an organic fragility to the precise, ink-heavy composition across the textured leaf.
