A horizontally oriented, warm tan palm leaf features three dense blocks of black calligraphic script written with ink and gum tempera. The angular, uniform text is arranged in rows between two small, circular binding holes. Small black markings appear centered above the left and middle sections. The long, thin leaf has rounded ends and slightly irregular edges, characteristic of the traditional format for South Asian manuscripts.
