A horizontal palm leaf features black ink script arranged in three rectangular blocks. Two circular holes are positioned between these blocks, punctuating the composition. Small calligraphic characters appear in the margins on our far left and right. The tan, narrow surface of the leaf displays a faint horizontal grain beneath uniform, tightly packed rows of text.
