A long, horizontal palm leaf in gum tempera and ink features three rectangular sections of dense black script across a weathered, tan surface. Two small circular holes punctuate the leaf between text blocks. The tiny characters are arranged in uniform, tight rows. With rounded ends and a visible fibrous grain, the leaf presents a rhythmic, elongated layout of script from left to right.
