A horizontally oriented palm leaf folio features a warm, fibrous tan surface with slightly frayed edges. Three rectangular blocks of dense, black script are punctuated by two small, circular punch holes. The tightly packed, uniform characters are flanked by smaller marginalia on the far left and right. The dark ink creates a sharp contrast against the natural, organic texture of the long, narrow rectangle.
