Horizontally oriented, this light tan palm leaf folio features three dense blocks of black script. The long, narrow surface is punctuated by two small circular holes between text sections. Rows of closely packed characters create a rhythmic texture against the warm, organic background. Tapering slightly at its rounded ends, the leaf reveals natural grain beneath the precise, dark strokes of gum tempera and ink.
