A long horizontal palm leaf features three dense rectangular blocks of black-inked script on a weathered, light tan surface (see "Inscriptions"). Two circular holes separate the script into distinct sections. Small black characters mark the margins. The leaf has slightly rounded ends, and the material exhibits the natural, varying texture of an aged manuscript. The composition is defined by the repetitive, geometric arrangement of the black ink.
