Densely packed black ink forms three rectangular blocks on a long, horizontally oriented tan palm leaf. Two circular holes puncture the fibrous, organic surface, punctuating the spaces between the script. Small, delicate characters accent the outer margins of the irregular, slightly frayed strip. The rigid, repetitive rows of script create a dark, textured rhythm against the natural, warm-toned ground.
