Black ink applied to a long, horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three dense, rectangular blocks of script. Open spaces between the blocks are each centered with a circular binding hole. Within each segment, seven rows of tight, uniform characters contrast against the natural leaf texture. Small black marginalia and numbers mark the far margins, creating a rhythmic, segmented composition across the narrow, weathered surface.
