This horizontally oriented palm leaf features three dense columns of blocky black script. The compact text, rendered in gum tempera, occupies a light tan surface marked by irregular, darkened edges. Two circular binding holes pierce the leaf between columns. Small black characters punctuate the margins at the upper right and lower left, while the natural grain of the leaf provides a textured backdrop for the dark calligraphy.
