A horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three dense blocks of black ink script arranged in rows. The angular South Asian characters show slight fading in the rightmost column. Two small circular holes are centered between the text blocks. The long, rectangular folio has slightly uneven edges and rounded corners, creating a rhythmic pattern across its narrow surface. Gum tempera gives the text a distinct, heavy texture against the weathered leaf.
