A horizontally oriented palm leaf folio features dense black ink brushed onto a fibrous, light tan surface. Three distinct rectangular blocks of script are separated by two small circular punctures. The script is tightly packed in rows, with small black symbols floating above. The leaf tapers slightly at both ends, showing a natural grain that runs horizontally beneath the dark, repetitive marks of the calligraphy.
