Dense ink and gum tempera are brushed onto a horizontally oriented, weathered light brown palm leaf. Three rectangular blocks of fine script are separated by two circular binding holes. Within each block, the medium forms neat, horizontal rows. Small characters mark the far margins while a tiny number sits above the central section. The leaf has irregular, frayed edges that highlight the contrast between the dark text and textured manuscript substrate.
