A horizontally oriented palm leaf folio features three dense blocks of black ink and tempera script on a tan, weathered surface. The calligraphy is organized into straight rows with continuous horizontal strokes. Two small, circular binding holes are positioned between the columns. The long, narrow leaf has rounded, worn edges. This uniform writing creates a structured, rhythmic layout across the organic medium, characteristic of traditional South Asian manuscripts.
