A horizontal palm leaf in gum tempera and black ink features three dense blocks of Indic script across its weathered, tan surface. Two circular punch holes punctuate the text. The number "81" and small characters are brushed into the margins. Horizontal rows of dark calligraphy create a repetitive, rhythmic pattern against the narrow material, echoing the traditional composition of South Asian manuscripts.
