Gum tempera and black ink on a horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three dense rectangular blocks of script. Two circular punctures divide the sections across the weathered surface. Small notations mark the top edge and far sides, while a visible horizontal grain runs through the material. Tightly packed characters create dark shapes against the organic texture and worn edges of the leaf, which is a light brown.
