One side of a long, horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three blocks of dense black script arranged in horizontal lines. Two circular holes pierce the leaf in the blank spaces between these sections. Small characters appear below the center and far-right blocks. The rectangular leaf has slightly rounded corners and a natural, uneven grain. The ink text is compact and uniform against the fibrous wood-like surface.
