A horizontally oriented palm leaf of warm tan is marked with dense, dark script in three distinct rectangular blocks. Two small circular holes punctuate the spaces between these text sections. The elongated folio has rounded ends and slightly irregular edges. Tiny black and red symbols occupy the margins above the left block and below the center, adding precise detail to the rhythmic, compartmentalized composition of gum tempera and ink.
