A horizontally oriented palm leaf features three rectangular sections of dense, black ink and gum tempera script on a tan surface. The uniform characters fill tight rows, separated by two circular binding holes. Small numerical notations appear in the margins, while the ink remains opaque. The leaf's natural grain provides a subtle, textured backdrop to the rhythmic script, concluding in slightly rounded corners that soften the long, narrow silhouette.
