Gum tempera and black ink on a horizontally oriented, tan palm leaf feature three rectangular blocks of script. Two small circular binding holes puncture the material between the central and outer blocks. The leaf's rounded ends and irregular, worn edges emphasize its organic texture. Each block consists of multiple lines of fine, densely packed black characters, creating a repetitive, textured pattern across the elongated, aged surface.
