A horizontally oriented gum tempera and ink painting on a light tan palm leaf features three dense blocks of thick black script. The text is arranged in neat, rhythmic rows of blocky characters across the organic surface. Two circular holes puncture the material between these sections, while the leaf's long edges are irregular and weathered. The dark ink contrasts with the aged material, creating a textured composition of ancient writing.
