A narrow, horizontal palm leaf features gum tempera and black ink script in three dense, rectangular blocks. Neatly organized horizontal rows of intricate, handwritten characters fill each block, creating a rhythmic texture. The tan leaf has rounded ends and two circular holes separating the text sections. Small black notations appear in the far left and right margins. The composition emphasizes a balanced, linear progression of script across the organic, aged material.
