A horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three rectangular blocks of dense black script in gum tempera and ink. Two circular binding holes separate the text. Small symbols and characters appear in the margins, and a tiny red mark sits above the center block. The fibrous leaf has uneven, frayed edges. Additional handwritten text flanks the script blocks and surrounds the binding holes.
