A horizontal palm leaf features three dense blocks of black ink script on a tan surface. Two circular binding holes puncture the leaf between the text sections. The angular characters, joined by horizontal headstrokes, are flanked by small marginal numbers on the far left and right edges. The natural horizontal grain of the palm leaf is visible across the entire surface.
