Inked on a horizontally oriented tan palm leaf, three dense blocks of South Asian script fill the center. Two circular holes punctuate the blank gaps between the rectangular sections. The script is composed of thick, black characters in tight, level rows. While the top edge is straight, the bottom is frayed and irregular. Tiny marginalia sit at the ends, and the weathered surface preserves an organic, fibrous texture.
