A horizontally oriented palm leaf features three distinct blocks of dense black ink script on a tan surface. Two small, circular binding holes separate the sections. The script consists of uniform rows of blocky, interconnected characters with a continuous horizontal line along the top of each row. Tiny characters appear in the far margins, while the irregular, tapered edges of the leaf frame the rhythmic, repetitive pattern of the text.
