A horizontally oriented, light tan palm leaf features three rectangular blocks of dense, black-inked script. The uniform, rectilinear characters are packed into tight rows, punctuated by two small circular holes between the blocks. Minute notations and numbers are inked into the margins at either end. The leaf has slightly rounded corners and shows minor fraying along its bottom edge.
