A horizontally oriented tan palm leaf depicts three dense, rectangular blocks of thick black script. Spaced across the narrow, weathered strip, these sections are separated by two small circular holes. The hand-lettered characters possess a rhythmic, repetitive quality against the organic surface, which features irregular, frayed edges. This composition highlights the contrast between the dark ink and the warm, textured background, presenting the ancient text in framed, screen-like intervals.
