Dense black ink and tempera are brushed onto a long, horizontal strip of light brown palm leaf. Three distinct blocks of Indic script are separated by two circular binding holes. The text runs in tight, horizontal rows across the smooth, grained surface. Small markings appear in the far margins. This arrangement creates a rhythmic composition, with dark calligraphic strokes contrasting against the warm, natural tones of the striated leaf.
