One side of a horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three blocks of dense black script in gum tempera and ink. The angular characters are connected by a continuous top bar. Two small circular holes separate the text sections. The folio's edges are worn and irregular, particularly along the top. Beneath the left and central blocks, small ink characters are visible. The dark script stands out against the long folio's textured, natural surface.
