A horizontally oriented rectangular palm leaf features three distinct blocks of dense black script in gum tempera and ink. Two small circular holes punctuate the light tan, fibrous surface between text sections. Visible horizontal striations of the natural fiber run across the background, while the leaf's ends are slightly rounded and irregular. The angular Indic calligraphy is arranged in six uniform lines per block, displaying interconnected horizontal strokes across the top edge.
