A horizontally oriented tan palm leaf features three rectangular blocks of dense black script in gum tempera and ink. Two circular holes puncture the surface between these sections. The leaf's edges are worn and irregular, particularly on the left, with small characters appearing in the margins. Within each block, uniform letters are arranged in several tight horizontal rows, creating a rhythmic pattern across the elongated, weathered surface.
