A horizontally oriented palm leaf features three dense blocks of black ink Sanskrit script organized across a tan surface. Between the blocks, two circular binding holes are punched. Smaller characters sit in the margins at each end. The aged material exhibits weathered, frayed edges, its fibrous grain providing a textured backdrop for the uniform, blocky characters that stand in contrast to the organic, irregular borders of the leaf.
