A horizontally oriented manuscript on a weathered, tan palm leaf features dense blocks of black ink script. Three rectangular sections of text are separated by two small circular binding holes. The leaf's edges are irregular and frayed, with small numerical markings in the margins at either end. Neatly packed into rows, the script creates a rhythmic pattern across the long, narrow surface against the muted, earthy tone of the leaf.
