A horizontally oriented palm leaf in muted tan is inscribed with gum tempera and black ink script. Three dense, rectangular blocks of uniform text span the surface, which features irregular edges and two circular binding holes. Tightly packed rows fill each section, accented by small markings centered above and below the middle block. The composition highlights the contrast between the rhythmic, dark characters and the organic, weathered texture of the botanical support.
