A horizontally oriented pith paper painting depicts a floral spray framed by a wide red border. At the left, a deep purple trumpet flower and white blossoms nestle among green foliage. To the right, two large red flowers with prominent yellow stamens anchor the composition. Above, a yellow and green butterfly with brown spots rests with wings spread. Thin, curling tendrils weave throughout the arrangement, rendered with delicate shading against an off-white background.
