A vertically oriented ink painting depicts a mist-shrouded landscape. In the foreground, a gnarled pine leans over a stilted pavilion beside a river where figures navigate small boats. Craggy mountains rise above the valley toward a pale sky. A waterfall tumbles from rocky cliffs on our left, near tiny buildings tucked among peaks. Delicate, dark brushstrokes define the trees and jagged terrain against washes of gray and soft brown.
