A hanging scroll in ink and light color depicts a rounded gray mountain filling the upper half. Below, a thatched-roof pavilion sits on a jagged rocky cliff jutting over blue-washed water. Smaller buildings nestle on the left. Tall, spindly trees grow beside the pavilion, where seated figures gather. Muted gray washes form the landscape, while fine lines define the craggy shore. Two red seals mark the bottom left. Patterned silk borders the paper.
