Did You Know?

This print is the second from the left of a composition comprising five prints, but the museum has only two of them.
A vertically oriented woodblock print depicts people on a wooden bridge above a boat. On the bridge, one person with light skin tones holds a pipe while another wears a headscarf. Below, women with light skin tones in orange and black robes occupy a boat; one plays a stringed instrument while others hold fans. Stylized waves fill the foreground, and Japanese calligraphy appears on the lower right. Houses line the distant shore.
