A vertically oriented tempera and gold painting depicts the Virgin Mary and baby Christ, both with light skin tones. Mary wears a gold crown and dark robe over red, supporting the Child who looks up at her wearing a green top and orange cloth. Two winged angels occupy the upper corners against a gold background. To our lower left sits a miniature landscape. The wood surface is pitted with small holes.
